still.    cool.     silent  the water  waits.



        ii.

one could almost feel the tension
thickening lengthening interminable;
yet daren't touch
     dare not disturb

                 this Blessed Place
                 this Holy    Peace

         iii.

patient.    eager.    anon,  the ripple   spreads.


         iv.

ah! at last.     it is  done.
           it is   broken.
           it is        begun.
the energy imparted;    a promise kept
          
     stony silence
             now a whisper

hush now.    wait for it.
it comes for you.    it comes to you.
